The crunch of fresh apple slices replaces the cookie base, while the shredded coconut and almond butter deliver that creamy, chewy texture. Add a drizzle of dark chocolate sweetened with dates (DÄT Chocolate Bar) and a touch of NUTSÓLA Superfood Mix for an extra burst of vanilla and almond flavor, and you've got a snack that’s both nourishing and satisfying.
Here's how to make these simple, nutritious treats:
Ingredients:
- 1 apple of your choice
- ⅓ cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 3 tbsp almond butter (or nut butter of choice)
- 1/4 cup NUTSÓLA Superfood Mix (Vanilla Almond)
- 1/4 dark chocolate bar (DÄT Chocolate Bar sweetened with Dates)
Directions:
1. Cut apple into ¼-inch thick slices and core. You should have around five slices.
2. In a bowl, mix together the shredded coconut, almond butter, and NUTSÓLA Superfood Mix until fully combined.
3. Place the mixture on top of each apple slice, then arrange them on a parchment-lined surface.
4. Melt the dark chocolate and drizzle it generously over each apple slice.
5. Place the apple slices in the freezer for about 5-10 minutes until firm, then enjoy!
