This recipe uses our Cherry Max Superfood Mix, which is the perfect mix of sweet cherry flavor and rich dark chocolate.
With this recipe, you'll make 7 soft-baked squares that are grain-free, plant-based including the protein, and no added sugar, topped with our Cherry Max Superfood Mix.
Ingredient:
1. 3/4 cup applesauce
2. 2 tbsp tart cherry juice
3. 1/4 cup cocoa powder
4. 1 scoop vegan protein powder
5. 1 tsp baking powder
6. 1 can of chickpeas, rinsed & drained
7. Our Cherry Max Superfood Mix
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8x8 baking square with cooking spray and set aside.
2. Place all ingredients (except bites!) in a food processor and blend until puréed and smooth. Pour batter into prepared baking dish and spread until evenly distributed. Crumble superfood bites on top.
3. Bake The Chocolate Cherry Protein Squares for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool completely, and place dish in the refrigerator for 30 mins to an hour until it is firm. Slice and serve!
