Our DÄT chocolate bars aren’t made with any preservatives, additives or hydrogenated oils, making them more susceptible to quality issues in confectionery. To maintain their freshness, we advise storing our chocolate bars in temperatures below 65° F and kept away from heat or direct sunlight. Exposure to elevated temperatures may lead to imperfections in appearance, but rest assured they will still be delicious and are safe for consumption.
What is causing the discoloration in our Chocolate Bars?
If your chocolate bars look lighter, it might be because of cocoa bloom, which often happens in chocolates with nuts and no preservatives. Temperature changes, like going from warm to cool places, can make the chocolate seem whitish or make dark chocolate look like milk chocolate. Rest assured, the chocolate is still delicious and safe to eat!
